Young Kart Driver Killed in Tragic Accident in the USA

Yesterday 12 year old Rotax kart driver Kenneth McKinster was tragically killed in an accident in the USA at Tri-City Kart Club.

According to tri-cityherald.com – “he was killed when his kart left the asphalt at high speed, crossed a grassy slope and went through a wire cable fence. The boy sustained fatal injuries to his neck vertebrae and jugular vein, said Benton County Coroner Rick Corson.”

“Brown said McKinster, as is required of all riders, wore chest protection, head and neck restraints, a neck brace, a skid-resistant suit and a helmet designed for kart drivers.” full article>>

It appears a full investigation will now take place by the Police regarding the accident.
