Marco Ardigo Wins SKUSA SuperNationals!

By Karting1 ~ November 19th, 2007. Filed under: Kart Racing News.

The SKUSA SuperNationals is one of the biggest karting events in the USA. This year it attracted some top European drivers including Karting World Champion Marco Ardigo, KZ1 World Cup Winner Jonathan Thonon, and 4x World Karting Championship Winner Davide Fore. They competed in the SuperPro class, which is pretty much the same as KZ1

Gary Carlton was the home favourite, but despite being promoted to second after Thonon retired from second, Ardigo was just too strong for him to beat. Davide Fore only qualified 16th for the final, but put in another one of those ‘Fore Specials’ to finish in 4th.

1. Marco Ardigo – +3.190
2. Gary Carlton
3. Jeremy Iglesias
4. Davide Fore
5. Ron White
6. Nick Halen
7. Gian Caviciutti
8. Danilo Dirani
9. Ryan Yop
10. Wesley Boswell

This win has capped of what can only be described as a superb year for Ardigo who can now add this title to his KF1 World, and European Championships!
