Rumours have been circulating for weeks, and now TonyKart have confirmed that Junior British Karting Champion Oliver Rowland will be racing with the Italian outfit in 2008 in KF2.

Oliver was recently signed up by the McLaren Driver Development program, and will join fellow country men Catt, and Stevens in the TonyKart team.

“Oliver is a young driver who showed his great potential, constantly improving year after year. This will be his first complete season in the International scene, he will have to learn lots of new things, such as the working methods of our Racing Team. I think that it will be an intense season, in which he will have the opportunity to take a further qualitative leap in his career. We will do the best we can in order to let him adapt himself perfectly at the Tony Kart Racing Team and we will give him all the support he will need.
