Robert Kubica Organises KZ2 Kart Race For F1 Friends at Lonato!

Rumours had been circulating that Polish BMW F1 star Robert Kubica has been organising some KZ2 races in Italy between the German, and Hungarian F1 Grand Prix weekends. Drivers invited are Felipe Massa, Timo Glock, Sebastian Vettel, Nelson Piquet, Tonio Liuzzi and Michael Schumacher. Well rumours they are no more. South Garda Karting have published a gallery from today where the F1 stars teamed up with guys like Davide Fore in KZ2 karts

Luizzi on the BBC “All of us we are trying to organise some days on a karting track. It is really important, karting is the first love and you never forget. We also get a lot of adrenaline in karting even if we are Formula 1 drivers. Karting…..we go as many times as we can during the year and we try to organise as many events for the spectators and fans”

Wasn’t it Jenson who damaged a rib while karting a couple of years ago, and had to miss an F1 test? Can’t see the teams letting this continue if that happens again!
