I’m not sure what AiM are thinking making a watch that’s even better than their GPS kart data loggers, at half the price. But there you go, that’s what they are doing!

The AiM GPS watch retails at £175 inc VAT

For karting use, all you would have to do is press a button on the watch for where you want to have your lap times set (morning track walk would be the time to do it), and then go out and drive. The watch will then record your lap times.

Far more important is that the watch will store a speed trace for all your laps, which means it’s as advanced as the AiM GPS data logger which retails at £375+VAT. You also get Lateral and Longitudinal G, so you can measure your grip and acceleration… all from a watch.
