Jenson Button Pictured Karting!
By news ~ November 16th, 2006. Filed under: Kart Racing News.
Here is a collection of Jenson Button karting pictures from when he was racing his Wright Kart and taking numerous British Cadet and Junior titles. For anyone interested in taking the same route to F1 as Jenson you should head over to the Wright Karts website where there is more on Jenson’s karting days and how Wright Karts are producing the next generation of champions still!

Wright are still going strong and this year have taken the British Cadet Kart Super 1 Britsh title with young star Alex Gill, and are set to have a strong 2010 season with a line up of young drivers hungry to emulate their Wright kart predecessor Jenson Button – 2009 F1 World Champion!
Over at crash.net some pictures have emerged of what seem to be Jenson Button driving what looks like TM powered 100cc Formula A kart.
It may be in association with the Stars Of Tomorrow karting championship or GKS Karting Racing. GKS are the kart team that Jenson had a successful karting career in Europe with. Whatever it is, it is nice to see the boy keeping it real and getting back to his roots. The photo is taken in Belguim at Genk or maybe Spa.
We’ll get the low-down on what this was all about as soon as we can!

It indeed is Jenson driving in a 100cc TM/Birel kart. On the 3the and 4te of november Jenson came to Genk(belgium) to drive on the new circuit called after him. On my website http://www.edkart.nl there are some more pictures, including me talking with him, under the button foto’s and on the wedsite http://www.kartinggenk.be.
Sorry for my bad english
Cheers Edgar
