iRacing, a newly developing driving simulator, has announced they will include karting in their game. They announced this during an interview with SimRacingTonight.

iRacing has caused quite an uproar in the sim community with it’s pricing scheme that works more on a subscription basis than a one-off payment which could prove very costly for the customer if they want to persue a long term commitment to the sim. However iRacing they hope to push forward sim racing as a valid form of motorsport.

Whether their physics model will be able to handle the complexities of a kart is as yet unknown, and we hope it isn’t just a rush job to do all things for all people.
