Unusually the Winter Cup wasn’t the first major event of the karting season with the 1st Round of the WSK taking those honours. However, it still remains a major trophy and TonyKart’s Gary Catt came out on top. Ben Hanley, and much celebrated karter from a few years ago, returned from his car racing and proved extremely competitive lining up on grid 2 for the grand final.
