Fore Dumps Tony Kart for Marenello!

By Karting1 ~ October 20th, 2006. Filed under: Kart Racing News.

Kartlink certainly have been keeping their ears to the ground and have just revealed this bombshell. Davide Fore, whose blood is supposed to run TonyKart green, has seemingly signed for Maranello out of the blue! Where the hell did that come from???? Has he gone mental, or have Maranello made him an ‘offer he can’t refuse

Compared to his previous years of domination, 2006 has been a bit of a let down for Fore by his own standards maybe, but not exactly a disaster, and for sure Mr Rabazzi at Tony Kart must be doing his absolute nut over this. According to Kartlink Fore informed Robazzi of his new contract a day or two after it was signed, so I think we can assume the negotiations were carried out without the green team’s involvement.

Here is an artists impression of what Fore will look like in his new team ;-)

So imagine that, your main man who you have stood by for so many years, and who has strong family connections to the team too, says he’s off to one of your main rivals, and that the deal is already done and dusted!! And add to that that Mr Robazzi is a full on respect demanding Italian top dog…… Hopefully fore has somewhere safe to stay!

Well, Maranello must have some serious machinery for next year, or maybe this shock move is a sign of how the Tony Kart Vortex KF1 TaG motors are coming along, in comparison to the Parilla’s we assume Maranello will be running.

All speculation of course, but it’s fun having a bit of drama in the karting world!!
