Chad Reed Builds Kart Track in his GARDEN!

One of the world’s most successful motocross riders Chad Reed, has done what only karters can dream of – build a kart in his back yard. Despite the massive jumps and glory of Supercross, it would appear Chad gets pretty pumped by karting.
He said “Honestly, that is the priority right now…if there was a donation for a karting team, I would be ready for Australia, for sure. I’m into it, but man it’s expensive!”

He continued “People ask – why did you do this? Because I can! I worked my ass off my whole life until this point and I sacrificed a lot and you know what? I dreamed of this as a kid, and I got it” On his CR125 kart “ I only had one, and I had that kart since 03 and it’s literally sat around because I haven’t had a track. But now I have a track so I can drive it.” He now has a fleet of karts that include KZs, Rotaxs, and 250fs.
Karting has recently been in favour with quite a few extreme sports stars as they seek out pure adrenaline and speed. Travis Pastrana has his own kart as well.
