No it’s not April 1st! In an odd news story Joe Kinnear, manager of Newcastle United soccer team, hopes that a session of karting can improve his teams chances of staying in the Premiership according to the Daily Mail

Actually, it isn’t unusual for footballers or sportsman to have a go at kart racing in team bonding exercises. Andy Murray is well known for his enjoyment of karts even if they are just corporate karts. However, if he were to try a real kart his management team may not be too enthusiastic.
