British Karting Titles Decided at S1 Clay!

By Karting1 ~ September 17th, 2007. Filed under: Kart Racing News.

Oliver Rowland at long last has picked up the Junior British Karting Championship. After some brilliant double wins this year Oliver bagged enough points at the final round in Clay to take the title. In Seniors Chris Rogers managed to take the title away from his team mate Mark Litchfield.

Race winners in all classes were Jordan Chamberlain and Jack Harvey in JICA, Shaun Carter took the double in ICA, and Chris Rogers took the double in Formula A.

In Cadets Hazz Trulove came out on top, but rather more compelling is that one of Karting1’s Drivers to Watch - Trevyn-Jay Nelson - came in 4th place, after suffering a puncture on the last lap which put him out of the battle for the win. The rather ominous thing for the competitors is that this his first year in Super1, and he is still only 8 years old (still too young to compete in Stars Of Tomorrow).
