628bhp per ton – the BRC 300cc twin kart awakes!

By Karting1 ~ June 15th, 2012. Filed under: Kart Racing News.

A single BRC 150cc was newsworthy enough for Karting1, but the geniuses at BRC engineering have decided one engine simply isn’t enough, so why not put two on a kart? The BRC 150 already hits out around 50+hp making it one of the quickest kart engines on the planet, but with two on a kart it takes kart performance to a whole new level. With driver, a BRC twin hits out approximately 628hp per ton, yes, that’s 628hp per ton! That’s a better hp per ton figure than a Bugatti Veyron!

The kart has only just been finished. Check it out being fired up

(*Karting1 does not condone driving a kart without the appropriate safety gear.)
