Oliver Rowland in Display of JICA Magic

Give credit where it’s due, Shenington’s decision to send Oli Rowland to the back of the grid after a false start was an act of pure genius…. because it lead to the finest most exhilarating display of driving I have seen in years! That boy was just lit up from the word go and pulled off the sweetest outbraking moves I’ve seen by ANY driver at Wilkins.

At the lights it looked like Oli was holding back until he just threw himself into the pack at turn one, he can’t have lifted at all, and by the time the karts screamed round hanger for the first time he was up to something like fifth…..I couldn’t find him at first because to get past that many JICA’s in one lap seemed ridiculous, but he did it.

Then once up with the front runners he was operating on another level, see for yourselves in the video below. I can’t believe we will be losing JICA, when you hear those motors screaming you know you are witnessing the purest balls out racing, it fills the air with electricity. Add to that raw talent like Rowland and you have magic.
