Kozllinski, and the resurgent Maxter took another victory in KF1 winning the Final of the latest round of WSK. Will Steven’s who started the day very well finished in 10th place. In KF2 Oliver Rowland was pipped at the line by just .050 by Petri Suvanto in a thrilling race. Brandon Maisano took the KF3 honours.

CIK European Kart Championship Round 1 - Catt Puts TonyKart/Vortex Back on Top!

Sunday
Brit Gary Catt put TonyKart/Vortex back to the top in Final 2 with a fantastic win. Early weekend pace setter Armand Convers placed 2nd.
With 3 different manufacturers inside the top 3, the championship is now set to be a close one, and less predictable than last year.
Arnaud Kozlinski CRG/Maxter won the first final at Round 1 of the KF1 European Championships in Angerville. Gary Catt managed to salvage something for what is a disappointing weekend by their standards forTonyKart/Vortex by finishing 2nd. Marco Ardigo retired on lap 4.
Maxter will be pleased as they had a poor start to the KF era in 2007. Kozlinski was .2 quicker than any other non-Maxter kart!
In KZ2 Jack Hawksworth finished 1st on track, but a ten second penalty for a jumped start meant he was relegated to 7th
Saturday
Jack Te Braak topped the Intermediate Classifications after today’s KF1 heats as 4 separate engine manufacturers filled the top 4 spaces. Defending champion Marco Ardigo found himself classified 7th for today.
In KZ2 Jack Hawksworth had an awesome day winning all of his heats, and is looking very good for tomorrow.
Friday
Frenchman Armand Convers finished Friday on top with his TM engined PCR at Angerville, France. Reigning champion Marco Ardigo will be disappointed to see himself down in 5th place .169 of the pace.
Maxtter, Parilla, and TM will take heart in out-qualifying lasts years dominant engine - Vortex.

PFi was the host for the first two rounds of the Stars Of Tomorrow Series incorporating the MSA British Cadet Kart Championship. Once again the weather was typically wet and miserable. It makes you wonder if we will actually see a dry weekend of national competition…
