British Karting Championship R5 – Burton Finally Nails It!

By Karting1 ~ August 23rd, 2009. Filed under: Kart Racing News.

Round 5 of the British Karting Championship was held at Nutts Corner this weekend and in KF1 Elliot Burton broke his duck with a win. It’s been a long time coming for Burton who has had the speed throughout the season, but hasn’t been able to deliver the results. In KF2 Jordan Chamberlein unfortunately suffered a broken collarbone. It is unknown how this will effect the rest of his season. Shaun Carter was the man to win in KF2. In KF3 Alex Albon once again proved dominant, and in Cadets Alex Gill was victorious.

Only 1 final was run in each class as the wet weather proved too much to safely run the second finals.
