Destination Brands Hatch

Midlands’ Racer, Jade Paveley, will race at Brands Hatch this coming weekend in the Mazda Cup to gain the last outstanding signature to upgrade her MSA race licence bringing it into line with her National A Kart licence.
“After a busy year of A level preparation and kart racing I am now catching up on car racing and upgrade signatures so I can pursue my goal of arriving in the BTCC and LeMans in the very near future.”
Jade has had a very busy time since completing her education filming with DAVE TV for a programme due out in October and racing every weekend in KZ2 or Mazda club races to gain upgrade signatures.
“My schedule may look glamorous but I can assure you I have also had to roll my sleeves up and start work in the family business at the Kart Circuit and helping Dad out with his Sparco commitments and covering for him when he has been driving on events” said Jade
Jade is methodically working through a 5 year development programme which includes media training, fitness and diet, and of course driver development.
“The part of my programme that I am just starting now is the engineering aspect of car set up and mechanical hands on knowledge, which was not possible to include until I had finished my college course, this will further assist in being able to pin point problems accurately and help in my confidence working with teams” commented Jade.
I am really pleased with Jade’s progress remarked David Paveley, “you can see how the pressure of finishing her college work has enabled her to focus on her motorsport career aspirations and the increase in speed has been obvious, having led outright two KZ2 races in the last month and recorded personal best lap times at every race in the last 5 weeks Jade has demonstrated her true potential. Jade is now under strict orders to keep out of trouble this weekend at Brands Hatch to complete the upgrade process, and then we can start pushing for race results”.
