First open practice for the new class
Buckmore have been the pioneers of the Bambino class in the UK since we purchased a fleet of 50cc Bambino Karts nearly two years ago. Our Bambino kart school format, and later the Bambino Club, have been closely watched and emulated by other circuits and the governing body of Motorsport, the MSA.
The class became an official class on the 1st of January and as we have never let grass grow under our feet, the first ever open practice session for Bambino Drivers was held the following morning (the first being a bank holiday).
Father Christmas had obviously been busy and we were delighted by the number of shiny new karts that turned out to turn a wheel for the first time. The day was deemed a great success, by the drivers (obviously), by the parents and by ourselves.
This session was the ideal pre-cursor to the very first MSA meeting at which the Bambino Class will appear, the BPKC Race Meeting on Sunday the 17th January. If you have been thinking about this class for your young 6-7 year old, then do come down to the circuit on the 17th to watch the youngsters in action.
Like the inception of the Cadet class a few years ago, this class will be massive.
