Adidas miCoach Super 1 Challenge

An exciting new competition for fit drivers and those aiming to improve fitness is offered to the first thirty Super One drivers applying for the exclusive adidas miCoach Super1 Challenge. To be held in association with Porsche Human Performance and Race-Boots.com the competition will be held at the Porsche Experience Centre, Silverstone. Comprising two sessions, one preceding the start and one following the end of the Super One season. Challenge competitors fitness will be assessed based on five exercises directly related to driving performance and stamina. Prizes will be awarded for the top performers and also for the most improved performances.
Each winner will receive a pair of adidas Kart XLT shoes, a pair of Nomex adiStar gloves, a pair of adidas training shoes and training apparel.
Each runner-up will receive a pair of adidas training shoes and training apparel.
Participation in the adidas miCoach Super1 Challenge is for Super One Series entrants only and through the purchase of an adidas miCoach Pacer bundle from Race-Boots.com for £119.99.
The Initial assessment will include a talk on the benefits of fitness and nutrition from Porsche Human Performance and an introduction to the Carrera Cup Scholarship programme as Porsche gears up for its LMP1 Le Mans challenge in 2014. Competitors will then be divided into groups and undergo the series of five Challenge exercises. Between the two assessments Challenge competitors should continue to use miCoach pacer and the training plans to monitor and improve fitness throughout the season and boost chances of winning at the final assessment. At the final assessment competitors will again be divided into groups and undergo the series of five Challenge exercises before the winners are announced at a buffet lunch.
The Porsche Human Performance team work with top athletes within motorsport including stars from F1, LMP1, GT and MoTo GP. The Human Performance Lab is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, which the team use in providing detailed fitness assessments and create a complete training plan for aspiring drivers and riders.
