KF2 driver Jake Ball, and Junior Rotax star Jack Dex are making a return to their karting roots by joining the TKM grid at this weekend’s TKM Festival. Coming off the back of a good Kartmasters for Ball, and a double Super 1 win for Jack Dex all eyes will be upon them to see how they perform.
Jake Ball finished 2nd in KF2 at the recent Kartmasters event
Jack Ball, previous Junior TKM National Title winner, commented “I am looking forward to it. I haven’t done it since last year when I did a club meeting. I think it’s a great class. The entries aren’t what they used to be but undoubtedly its still one of the best classes out there”
Jack Dex will be reunited with a Jade chassis which he so successfully drove
throughout much his TKM career
Jack Dex, who finished 3rd in the Junior TKM title in 2007 and is returning the Jade chassis had this to say “We are doing it for a bit of fun to be honest. I’ve always wanted to come back. To be honest I’ve always preferred it, but it’s never had the competition Rotax had, which is why we moved really”. Expectations for Jack? “Haven’t got any going on so we will see. Obviously with boys like Oli Hodgsen and Ashley Jones competing it would be good to give them a race”.
