Rotax 177
Pole man Harry Cockill had pretty much dominated
the 177 weekend with one heat win and a fourth. At the start he
jumped into a commanding lead from rival Tom Holland. The battle
for the win was clearly between these two drivers. Even though Cockill
had a decent lead Holland was able to take time out of the gap and
it wasn't long before he was on the back of Cockill's kart.

Harry Cockill had a great weekend
A gigantic, and possibly best of the weekend battle
then followed. It started nice as Holland went for first place.
Cockill knew he couldn't let Holland pull away so went straight
back through. But then Holland went back through again. The laps
were coming down and Cockill attacked at the Spoon corner which
didn't seem to leave Holland too pleased.

Tom Holland lost the victory after a stewards decision
Going into the second hairpin Holland decided it
was all or nothing and took a huge lunge at Cockill. He got through
and took the chequered flag. However post race the officials gave
Cockill the win after they demoted Holland for his move at hairpin
two. Also there was a fantastic result for Jacques Evans who at
the time jubilantly stated that it was his “best result ever”.
Unconfirmed Results

2. Tom Holland - Alonso/Rotax
3. Jacques Evans - Alonso/Rotax
KF3
A huge crash on the first lap of the KF3 final
thankfully saw no one have serious injuries. However the same couldn't
be said for the many karts that had bent axles, stubs, and track
rods. With so many damaged karts the stewards felt it necessary
to run the WTP final and allow the broken KF3s to fix their damage.
Jake Dennis, who was gridded near the back after retiring from the
pre-final due to electrical problems, was happy with the delayed
start as his mechanics had extra time to change a bent axle.

If in doubt use a hammer! Jake Dennis' mechanics rush
to fix his bent axle
Jordan King was the man on pole for the restart
and made it stick at the start with Sam Blake slotting into second
and Ben Barnicoat fitting into third. Battle Royale then followed
as Blake made an attempt for the lead and then seeing it go away
again as Jacob Stilp had a go at the front. It was a manic opening
part of the race.

Jordan King showed super consistancy and was justibly
rewarded
.
Meanwhile Jake Dennis had quietly moved from pretty
much last to find himself in 5th and catching the leaders with King
now heading that group. One by one Dennis took the drivers in front
and was miraculously on the bumper of King. However a costly mistake
saw him put a wheel on the grass and lose valuable time. Now it
was a battle of lap times as Dennis tried to claw back the lost
time.

An awesome GP final performance saw Jake Dennis take
2nd
He needed one more lap than the race allowed but
it was Jordan King who took a great win, from Jake Dennis and Ollie
Walker in third.
1. Jordan King - Maranello/TM
2. Jake Dennis - TopKart/Vortex
3. Ollie Walker - TonyKart/TM
Junior Rotax
Andy King was the early leader in the ultra competitive
Junior Rotax class as pole man Matthew Parry was demoted to fourth.
King didn't lead for long as Ollie Varney leapt into first place
with Ash Hand following close.

Start of the pre-final in Junior Rotax
Varney felt comfortable in the lead but Hand wasn't
having any of it and took his opportunity to take the lead. He did
so and it wasn't long before he started building a gap. With Hand
in a strong first the battle for second intensified as Varney, Josh
Webster, and Matthew Parry all duked it out.

Ash Hand was one happy man after his GP win
Josh Webster won that battle and secured second
from Varney. But at the front is was the superb Hand who took the
GP honours.
1. Ash Hand - Kosmic/Rotax
2. Josh Webster - TonyKart/Rotax
3. Ollie Varney - Gillard/Rotax
