Pictures etc. to follow, but congratulations to Bjorn for the win as well as to Adam and Bernd for fine podium places.
It was by all accounts – not so apparent from my vantage point towards the back – fine, clean racing with Antoine and Jurgen also very much in contention. Bad luck for Antoine with his axle breaking on the last lap of the final (too many hours on the bumpy new track extension on the previous 2 days?) and big respect to Jurgen for racing despite having extremely sore ribs and doing so well under the circumstances (did anyone drugs test you? I did put in a request for that ).
That concludes our season ; we’re already looking forward to next year’s expanded, 8-race calendar including 3 on the new, extended PFi track (after the badly needed ‘ironing out’ work on the new section has been done).
But of course the season isn’t quite over yet! There’s one round to go at Circuit Park Berghem, Netherlands at the end of October. UK drivers are expected to attend. |

I thoroughly enjoyed myself yesterday
Ribs are not hurting which is a bonus. Seriously need to work out my neck muscles and get my fitness up!
Antoine, how are your ribs? Did your Tillett rib cage extension help? |

I also had a fantastic weekend, despite all the bad luck physically and on the kart. Usual friendly atmosphere and the racing was awsome - videos beeing uploaded, I will send the links once done.
Thanks to all the guys who helped me during the weekend.
@Alex, I have done my ribs... I think this is because the ribcage set up is too tight. I clipped badly the inside kerb of the last corner, jump out of the seat and instead of landing at the bottom of the seat on my back, I land on the ribs... I am really impressed by the effect of Adrenaline as it really hurts now but to be honest it did not disturb me too much during the race. |

Owch! That’s sounds nasty.
Yeah, adrenaline is handy, that’s why I didn’t ask you yesterday. Sneezing is the worst thing, squeeze your nose, it works! |

Sorry, Antoine, I neglected above to mention that you were in serious discomfort as well. I thought you had gone into this weekend fully recovered, but – especially by the end of Sunday – that was clearly not the case. My apologies for rather downplaying that. And Jurgen didn't even offer you any of his "medication"?
So you’re not a candidate for Berghem, then? |

| Indeed Jurgen kindly gave me his pill (the most powerful one!). Going to Europe will be a challenge because I broke other things over the weekend... BTW, I think I will go away from Tonykarts. My heart balance between Sodi, CRG or Maranello. |

Then why not just fly the flag and get a Sodi? Aren’t CRG and Maranello the same thing in different colours?
At least you’re not one of these people who insist it must be TonyKart because …well, because why exactly?
Alan wants your report on the new track – see above. Unfortunately I only had time for Sunday, but heard that everyone was glad not to be racing the new track in its current condition (not a criticism of the design/layout, which was described as “potentially awesome”, just the poor workmanship). |

Or Swiss Hutless? Maybe a “Swiss I”, nice chrome plating (unique to SH I think) so no rust.
If/when I change chassis I’ll go SH. |

Great pic's, thanks Mr T!
Adam (25) with the black visor, no Mr growler anymore
Sure, very ugly, at least the Swiss have intervened to limit it to 1.20 against the Euro... small concession... |

The new track:
The layout is very interesting and will give a new dimension to the track. However they HAVE TO sort out the bumps it is really horrible and not to the standards of PFi. I would also question the security of the first corner, I once try to enter a bit faster and saw the inside kerb of the S very closely and I am not sure about the result but I will certainly not try. At the start of the race I think we will see some strikes... Also on the left coming on the bridge which is clearly a passing area, there is no run off (as you are on the bridge). If they were not bumps, I think I would love the long left going up hill. The braking to the first airpin is even more interesting as you come with more speed.
Overall the experience was bad due to the bumps but I am certain they will sort out and it will be world class track. |

Wow, that’s …er…shockingly bumpy. Not at all in keeping with the top notch quality of PFi otherwise. PF must be a teensy weensy bit annoyed with the contractors.
Also watched your vid of heat 3. Excellent stuff, and what super cool graphics! I’ve never come across on-board presentation as good as that. |
