|
|
Hi,
Running 2 Formula Blue karts, one up and going already for my son and one just about ready for me.
My son's kart has fairly new Le Conts and I believe they are the regulation tyres if you do proper racing, we're only probably going to do non-MSA> Anyway, the other kart has Vega tyres fitted.
What's the difference between different makes of tyres, are the Le Conts more or less grippy that others or perhaps longer lasting? Went around GYG last week and the Le Conts seemed to wear out really quickly? |

hi
Le conts are grippier but as you say seem softer and wear out, we normally do 2 race meetings on a set if after true top performance, iv don max of 4 meetings on a set just to save money haha
There are a lot of tyres on the market but you are best to pick up tyres people throw away at proper msa races as they change every meeting or nearly every meeting! often pick up wets too for free with enough tread for play./non msa |
