Are you winding me up!
If that's a Formula K then it'll be at home at Buckmore Park.
Ugly, belongs in LegoLand really.
Ben Palmer easily bounced an ancient Tony kart over the line in first place at Whilton at the weekend, so they must have something. |

| Tony-domination is pretty much UK thing only. Elsewhere CRG and Tony are the biggest brands, but CRG and its descendants are dominating. |

Because people win on them and there easy to setup. |
Some karts have there day, when there set up works they can win, but a tonykart is always up there!
They work out the box, standard will only ever be 2 tenths off at worst!
Parts maybe expensive, but there good quility (and fit) have you ever tried to fit a front bar to a top kart? or find a matching stub axle for a fk?
Parts are avalible everywhere, you wont go running round looking for an axle noone has, and if there to expensive most shops sell pattern stuff at half the price of genuine.
Why spend all your energy makeing the kart fit together or go round the track properly, when mr rebatzi (i dont have a clue how to spell his name) ha already done it for you? |

I'm think the durable frame is the main reason. Most other brands are catching up though... |

Internet sarcasim I hope!!tonys were the softest chassis, one wrong look and it bent.
The last tony i ran was an brand new evxx in rotax, On the first test it was actually slower than my 2 year old evs with ALOT of time on it.
Turned out to be wrong castor settings(new multi hole pills) unforeseen circumstances ment I never steped foot in that kart after my first time in it which was a shame because i busted myself to get it,
I have always wondered after that if a new chassis was much quicker or not after that!!
I dont think i would buy tony again, PARTS are to expensive ,plus you cant ring the manufactoror to get info. on setups. I used to get the same reply of teams the whole time when looking for advice,Which was to leave it as it was even trying to get base setups was a pain when i was a newbie |

That's how you tune an OTK kart; you don't touch it.
Honestly even the best drivers can fix so many handling issues just by driving better. Almost any kart will be quick on a baseline setup as long as you drive it competently. _________________
