Is it possible to adjust throttle pedal sensitivity? I know it's not on the chrome pedals, but on the CNC aluminium pedals there's alot more holes, can't work out which are for which though. There seems to be a big one at the top, then one further down, then 3 smaller ones at the front for the spring I suppose. Is that what they're all for? Is there any other way to adjust throttle sensitivity?

You can put a return spring on the carb or some springs on the throttle pedal itself to adjust how easy the pedal is to push.

It wasn't really the pressure I wanted to change, but the travel. It's far too short at the moment, just feels like on and off to my foot.

You need to drop the throttle cable attachment point on the pedal to the lowest position.

The chrome pedals usually have three loops to pass the cable through.

The lowest position will give your pedal the greatest travel and therefore the most sensitivity.

Don't forget that you will have to adjust the back and front stops on the pedal travel when you move the attachment point.

Make sure that the throttle cable is not under tension when the pedal is fully depressed.

Leave a small amount of play so that you are not straining the nipple on the end of the cable in the carb slide.

Otherwise this tends to cause excessive wear on the cable and can wear a groove in the cable bend on the top of the carb.

If it unravels you can end up on full throttle just when you don't want it!

Also have a bit of slack in the take up so that you don't rev the engine if your foot rests against the uncovered bit .
