Hello.
As listed in the title.
Used or new con rod, piston, alloy flywheel, carb, air filter, exhaust, valve springs, bigger valves, camshaft, etc.
Just any bits that make better performance.
Also if you should read this post and know of any good tunning info or seen some write ups on performance mods please post them up or if you have any links to company's you would recommend please share them with us.
I am doing a few lawn mower races this year and the 1st one is a street lawn mower race for charity its our local childrens hospice in a couple of weeks and all I can do with the brand new motor at the moment is take the governor out.
Some say they will rev to 5500 rpm and some say they will rev to 6200 rpm iam guessing that valve bounce is the limit when governor is removed on a standard motor.
I could do with knowing what the max revs are as we need to stick to the 30mph street speed limit and need to work the gearing out for that speed.
With governer off will thet help acceleration at all or just the revs?
Cheers if any one has some sound advice. |
