Hi, I've got a BT82 (direct drive) engine from 2000 I think. Is this still legal?
I've been off the scene for a while and know the rules have changed a little..
Cheers

The senior BT82 engines are now 115cc, as opposed to the 100cc (which is still used in juniors.) You can get your 100cc engine "Extremed" (An "extreme" engine is the 115cc version) with any TKM engine re-builder. As far as I'm aware, there haven't been any other changes to the engine- there have been some regulation changes regarding restrictors and weight limits, but no changes to the engine itself. Perhaps you could ring Tal-ko to find out for sure?

Hope this helps,
