Quote of the day has to go to Kimi when MB shoved the mike into his face during his grid walkabout and asked why he didn't go to the start line presentaion to MS "I was having a sh*t" he said with a large smile...
Made me laugh.
I thought yesterdays race was one of the best of the season, I've never been a fan of MS since he cheated Damon out of the title back in 94, but his drving after his puncture was just superb, he managed to get Fissi to totally cock up at the 1st turn and his move on Kimi was brilliant - MS at his very best.
I thought Jenson's drive was inspired, a very creditable 3rd place, I think Honda are finally getting it together, looking forward to next season already, the lesser teams are/have made good progress this year, it has the makings of a good season already. |

For sure, it was enjoyable to watch. Schumi showed why he still the best driver in F1. What he has done this year with Ferrari, considering the disaster of 05 has been brilliant.
Also look at what Massa has become. It isn't a coincidence he has suddenly become a good driver. He might not like to admit it, but a lot of what he is now is because of the Schumi factor.
Lewis Hamilton next year is what I am looking forward too. I don't think there is anyone on the grid now that has his level of talent and class. The boy is just awesome, and could easily cause some embarresement on Alonso's side. _________________ Karting1.co.uk - Karting1 Twitter - Karting1 Facebook |

Anyone else get the feeling he's going to be a fair bit more outgoing next season? McLaren run a pretty tight ship and I bet he never says much because he would get told off by Dennis! I bet he thought...who gives a crap...I'm leaving them after today _________________

Alan, yes Schumi was at his very best yesteday, I watched the tribute to him on ITV last night, and there was one little bit that made me prick my ears up.
Murry's voiceover suggested that he may have even have been forced out of Ferrari because they had already signed Kimi and didn't want to lose Massa or demote him to test driver, interesting comment I though.
Massa has come on in leaps and bounds this year, it will be very interesting to see how he and Kimi get on, and throw Alonso and Hamilton into the mix and we could see some fireworks next year for sure.
Mike, you could be right, will be very interesting to see how Kimi develops after McLaren, as you say Dennis is pretty tight lipped and I get the impression that he expects his drivers to be the same, seems to me to be a slightly stiffled atmosphere at McLaren, I hope that doesn't backfire on Lewis, as he has huge potential, I hope Dennis can nurture and not stiffle it |
