Hi there
i have heard that the newer style air box isnt as good as the older style ,
the only diffrence i can see is newer style is more aerodynamic and smaller internaly (less air volume ) than the older version
is there any truth in this ??? _________________ TonyKart Venox 04 , Rotax Max |

There are a few topics discussing this already.
From what I've been told, the old airbox makes the fuel mixture leaner. I don't know if that's true or not. It makes a bit of sense though if you consider that the old airbox has more volume so more air can go through at a given time? Not sure. _________________

no. the new one has round edges at the front, they may have done it on purpose for that reason :/ _________________ Dan Brown |
