Thanks,

Hi Richard,
Nearly, just got a couple of little things to do.
At the weekend I (in no particluar order):
1. Put the seat on.
2. Connected the earth.
3. Added an extra earth as recommended to me by Dave Taylor (DT Motorsport).
4. Put my Mychron on.
5. Added coolant.
6. Mopped up excess coolant off floor.
7. Fiited the throttle linkage to the carb.
Everything went Ok, except that the throttle linkage would not clear the carb throttle arm and required some slight adjustment with a drill.
So outstanding:
1. Set the throttle pedal.
2. Put a plug cap on.
3. Some more cable tidying.
Thats it and running in.
Two questions:
1. I want to put a decent plug cap on the spark lead, can you recommend one, I use an NGK on my TKM but don't know the type.
2. Any running in advice would be appreciated.
Regards,
Tim. |

| mine just has a standard NGK plug with the engine so iv used that n it seems perfectly fine. running in iv used 250 ml of oil with 5 ltrs of fuel just to add that extra lubrication to the cylinder whilst everything is getting losened up. sorry cant rememba name of oil its something lk KT but i know its blue lol!. 1st time out dont exceed 8000 for bout 8 laps bring her in and let her cool. repeate this but never exceed 12000 tops and always keep a richer jet setting on the carb sorry for the inacuracy with the oil but i hope this helps. |
